Not disturbing during driving is not only a handy function, it is also good for road safety. If the option is active, you will not receive any reports of, for example, WhatsApp, messages and telephone calls while driving. This makes you focus more on driving and traffic.
The option can be compared with the traditional non-disturbing function; However, it is automatically switched on when you connect your iPhone with your car via Bluetooth or automatic when you are driving. In addition, you also have the choice to switch on the option manually via the control panel.
Do not disturb during driving
- Open settings
- Navigate to ‘Focus’
- Go to the ‘Driving’ option
- Tap ‘during driving’
- Make a desired choice
Do you not see the option between your focus? Then first tap the plus button to add it.
Automatic, bluetooth or manual
While setting up the driving focus you have the choice between: Automatic, Bluetooth or manually. We explain the differences for you.
- Automatically: The function is switched on as soon as movement is detected and it is harder than approximately 20 km/h.
- Via Bluetooth in the car: The driving focus will always be switched on as soon as you are connected to the Bluetooth system in your car.
- Manually: You cannot disturb while driving, only enable manually via the control panel.
In addition, you also have the option of keeping all notifications still when using CarPlay. To do this, call in the ‘Activate with CarPlay’. We recommend the option automatically or Bluetooth to choose; Manual will often be forgotten.

- Tap ‘Focus’
- Choose ‘driving’
