Fire Emblem Heroes release in the Netherlands
Fire Emblem Heroes is the first time that the popular strategy game Fire Emblem makes the switch to a smartphone. In the game, you assemble an army of different heroes, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

Building and building your team is very important and determines whether you win battles against other armies. After choosing your troops, you will compete against others in many different levels. Here you take turns moving the Heroes across a field and fighting each other. This makes Fire Emblem Heroes a lot more complex than Super Mario Run, although the game has an extensive introduction that introduces you step by step to all parts of the game.
Since the Fire Emblem Heroes release has only just taken place, the servers still seem to be very unstable. For example, we received the necessary error messages during the installation. By pressing ‘Retry’ regularly, we finally managed to complete the 80MB download. It is important to remember that Fire Emblem Heroes, just like Super Mario Run, requires a continuous internet connection to work.
Completely free to play
Unlike Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes is completely free to play. The full game can therefore be played without spending money, although you can of course do this. For example, unlocking new characters is central, which happens with so-called Orbs. You can unlock these Orbs, but if you don’t want to wait for them, you can also purchase them. Nintendo was criticized at the time for the € 9.99 price tag attached to Super Mario Run.
