For those who are not yet exclusive enough for the standard Panigale V4 S, Ducati has developed two even more exclusive configurations: the carbon and carbon pro. The two versions improve maneuverability and braking performance of the Panigale V4 S and emphasize his racing image.
The carbon version contains five -spoke carbon fiber rims, homologated for driving with duo passenger, which lower the weight by no less than 950 grams compared to the forged rims of the Panigale V4 S. Thanks to the reduction in weight, the front mass causes at the front and on the back has fallen by 19%.
And that in turn has a huge effect on the power that is needed to change the panigale V4s in the direction, and especially at high speed, because the lower the Enertia, the less power it is necessary to have the engine changed direction. On a dike you will probably not notice much of it (unless you bark it at 200 per hour), but on circuit all the more.
The carbon equipment also includes a carbon (strictly speaking it is carbon fiber, but popularly called the carbon, derived from carbon fiber – the English word for this exotic stuff) front and rear fender and a set of double profiled carbon winglets, which strengthen the line of the Panigale V4 and the total weight saving.
The Carbon Pro version adds the exclusive Front Brake Pro brake system to the carbon components, consisting of two Brembo T-Drive discs with a diameter of 338.5 mm and a thickness of 6.2 mm, which increase the braking force and keep the brakes more constant.
These discs, which are used by the Ducati drivers in the 2024 Race of Champions, are derived from the racing discs chosen in the Superbike World Championship on the most demanding circuits and are linked to Brembo Hypure calipers. The latter were anodized in titanium color and provided with an oversized Brembo logo. Finally, an MCS 19.21 radial brake pump with a loose adjusting mechanism is provided, as is used in the MotoGP and the WorldSBK.
The two different trims are visible on a special page on the Ducati.com website, and can be selected in the configurator. Deliveries of the Panigale V4 S with Carbon Trim are planned for the beginning of June, for the European market. The carbon and carbon pro versions are not distributed in the United States.
