Ducati Days of Joy Elevation: ultimate Scrambler challenge

This year marks exactly ten years since Ducati revived the Scrambler, under the motto of the “Land of Joy”. Reason for the Italians to reflect on this in an appropriate manner this year in the form of a new format: “Elevation”, with which motorcyclists are challenged to climb 4,805 meters, equal to the height of Mont Blanc.

Ducati Days of Joy Elevation: ultimate Scrambler challenge

Three stages, one challenge, one goal: virtually climb Monte Bianco on Ducati Scramblers. This year, Ducati is launching a challenge for all motorcyclists who want to participate: collect the highest number of altitude meters covered during the three stages and earn a place in the history of the “Days of Joy”.

“Elevation” is the name of the challenge that Ducati Scrambler is launching for all enthusiasts. Participants ride a marked course that allows them to reach a positive altitude difference of 4805 meters, equal to the height of the highest peak in Italy, Monte Bianco.

Anyone who completes at least one of the routes will be officially inducted into the Days of Joy “Hall of Joy”. Those who complete all three stages will receive the Gold Medal of the Days of Joy 2024, which gives access to exclusive content from the manufacturer Borgo Panigale.

Along the route, made in a ring shape, there are three base camps for three relaxation and entertainment stops that offer different experiences during the day.

The challenge comes on an important anniversary for the Ducati Scrambler: exactly 10 years ago, at WDW 2014, the first Icon was shown to thousands of enthusiasts.

It was an immediate success: the “Land of Joy” captured the hearts of more than 110,000 motorcyclists worldwide. In the following decade, the Ducati Scrambler range joined the Icon, Urban Enduro, Full Throttle and Classic with iconic models such as the Desert Sled and Café Racer, and exclusive bikes such as the Fasthouse or the Italia Independent.

All models of the 2024 Ducati Scrambler series will be available for the Days of Joy activities. An exclusive novelty this year is the opportunity for five participants in each stage to take part in the experience with their own Scrambler.

There are three appointments on the calendar for 2024: the first in Misano (July 29), the second in Rome (September 21) and the third in Cinque Terre (October 19).
