For Ducati, people are the most valuable resource. Employees are the first Ducatisti and supporters of the brand. Through Family Day, the company gives everyone the opportunity to meet each other, make new friends, experience their workplace from an unprecedented perspective and share the spaces of their daily lives with friends and family.

Family Day should nourish the sense of belonging and the family spirit. which is characteristic of the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer. The event was attended by a record number of 4,200 people, including employees, friends and family members. For the occasion, many company departments organized special activities so that everyone could explore the places where Ducati motorcycles are born every day and share their technical and practical knowledge.

One of the most exclusive experiences was the chance to visit the Ducati Corse department, where the bikes for the MotoGP and WorldSBK championships are developed. In fact, the unit is normally only accessible to authorized personnel, with the result that the walk through the DesmosediciGP and Panigale V4 R development benches was a unique opportunity for visitors and employees alike.

There were many practical activities that challenged participants, such as assembling and disassembling a Ducati engine, testing a motorcycle or learning to use motorcycle diagnostic tools. There was no shortage of opportunities to visit the Ducati Museum and Factory and discover the secrets behind motorcycle design, production and assembly, straight from the people involved every day.

Even small children enjoyed drawing on the various boards they found at the Centro Stile Ducati, racing each other on toy motorcycles on a special track and improvising as apprentice mechanics under the supervision of Ducati experts.

During Family Day, Ducati organized a charity market within the company in collaboration with various charities. AIL, CARTIERA, EMERGENCY and UNHCR shared information and details about their work with attendees, raising awareness of the issues they face, such as upcycling and circular economy, health prevention and human rights.

Thanks to the creation of a participatory work of art, which saw the birth of a painting depicting a colorful Scrambler Ducati, Family Day will not remain just a memory in the hearts of the participants. In fact, the artwork will hang in a business space where employees can admire it every day.
