Ducati has done well in the 2023 financial year

The operating result achieved in 2023 is the best ever for Ducati, at 112 million euros, and a corresponding level of operating profitability increased further compared to the previous year, by 10.5%.

Despite increasing competition at international level and the difficulties experienced in the Chinese market, turnover exceeds the one billion euro mark for the second consecutive year, reaching 1,065 million euros, slightly below the record level of 2022 (1,089 million euros ).

In 2023, 58,224 motorcycles were delivered to Ducatisti around the world. A result that, although slightly lower than in 2022, places the past year as the third best in the company’s history in terms of sales volume.

Claudio Domenicali, CEO Ducati:

The results achieved by Ducati in 2023 confirm the validity of the strategic decisions and the self-financed investment policy that we have been following for several years. We ended the financial year with a turnover that once again exceeded the one billion euro mark and a record operational result, not forgetting the successes in racing, where we became world champions in MotoGP and WorldSBK for the second consecutive year.

Strengthened by the goals achieved, we look to the future with determination and continue with the development plan of the brand and the product range, with the desire to expand our presence into new segments, address new riders and the Ducatisti community to grow. The planned introduction of motocross this year is proof of this.”

Henning Jens, CFO Ducati:

“2023 was characterized by a global motorcycle market scenario with growing competition and challenging economic situations around the world. Despite this, Ducati was able to end the year with a further improvement in profitability, with a return on sales of 10.5% and a new record operational result. This was possible thanks to a very attractive model mix and a great focus on cost control and efficiency in all processes. The result also shows that Ducati operates with a clear strategy on a solid financial basis, and delivers good performance even in challenging years .”
