  • Warm up a little oil and put a few drops in your ear.

  • Leave the oil in for at least five minutes and then rinse it well with lukewarm water.
  • If you cover your ears with cotton wool, you can leave the oil in overnight and rinse your ears the next morning.

tip: It is best to use high-quality vegetable oils in organic quality. This will ensure that no harmful substances get into your ear. However, since you only need a few drops of oil for the treatment, you can simply use the vegetable oil that is in your kitchen anyway.

Use steam to clean blocked ears

A steam bath is ideal if you want to clean your ears in a pleasant way.

  • Pour a tablespoon for this chamomile with two liters of hot water. You shouldn’t use less water so that it doesn’t cool down too quickly.
  • Hold your ear over the steaming water for at least ten minutes and cover your head with a towel.
  • Then you can rinse your ear with lukewarm water.
  • The chamomile ensures that dry ear wax dissolves. It also cleans the ear canal and protects against bacteria.

tip: If your two ears are blocked, you should treat them one by one. First hold one ear over the steam bath and then rinse it out. Then you can repeat this for the second ear. Otherwise it can happen that the cerumen dries in the meantime and the steam bath was in vain.
