240 hp and four-wheel drive
Abarth announces the arrival of its strongest production model ever. This is Abarth’s version of the electric Fiat 600e.
In November 2022, Abarth pulled out its version of the electric Fiat 500e. With 154 hp, it is not the strongest 500 ever, but it is the fastest. There is also an Abarth variant of the electric Fiat 600e. However, it becomes much more potent. In fact, it will be Abarth’s strongest production model ever.
The Abarth 600e will have a 240 hp powertrain. For its version of the Fiat 600e, Abarth is joining forces with Stellantis Motorsport, the – you guessed it – motorsport division of Stellantis. According to the Italians, the 600e is on a new platform called Perfo-eCMP, although in practice it is a modified variant of the eCMP hardware that you find on the Fiat 600e.
The Abarth 600e gets extra powerful braking, an appearance with lips and spoilers and seats that are designed for firmer steering. We also know that the Lancia Ypsilon will get a sporty version. It is called HF and also has 240 hp under the hood. We also expect a similar variant from the Alfa Romeo Milano. That car will have four-wheel drive. So aim for the Abarth 600e and Ypsilon HF to also get four-wheel drive.
