Mini Aceman

Until now, Mini has said that the electric Aceman would arrive in 2025. What seems? It has already been presented earlier. This year!

It has been a year and a half since Mini previewed a brand new compact electric crossover with the Concept Aceman. The final production version of that study model will be called Mini Aceman and will be a smaller crossover than the new Countryman. The Aceman is not only smaller than the Countryman, but also differs from its big brother in terms of powertrains with which it is available. The new Countryman is available with combustion engines, but also with electric powertrains. The Aceman will be a purely electric model. Mini now says that the Aceman will be unveiled in just a few months.

The crossover owes its raison d’etre to the fact that Mini only makes a version of the electric Cooper with three doors. The five-door version of the previous generation Mini Hatchback will be delivered alongside it in a refreshed form, but it will not have electric powertrains. The final production version – which Mini is now showing again in test suit – will be slightly larger than its precursor. For example, the Concept Aceman was 4.05 meters long, but the final version will be 4.08 meters long. The car will be 1.75 meters wide and 1.5 meters high. So it is clearly one size smaller than the Countryman. We also know that the Mini Aceman will have a 54.2-kWh battery. The Mini Cooper is also available with a battery pack of that size. Count on an electric range of up to about 400 kilometers.

The production version of the Mini Aceman will be available within a few months. When exactly – that could easily be the end of this year or, as Mini said earlier, 2025.
