Price reduction has its price
The prices of the Peugeot e-208 and e-2008 with the strongest and most electrically competent drivetrain are going down. However, the price reduction is not a gift, because you also get a little less in return.
As before, the Peugeot e-208 is still available with two different electric powertrains. The electric variant of the successful 208 is available with a 50 kWh battery and a 136 hp electric motor and with a 51 kWh battery and a 156 hp powerful electric heart. The prices of the e-208 with the least powerful drivetrain remain unaffected. The prices of the Peugeot e-208 with the 51 kWh battery pack and the 156 hp electric motor will be reduced by €450. This means that the Peugeot e-208 with this hardware in Active trim will now cost €37,320. The Allure and GT flavors now cost €38,720 and €40,720 respectively.
The price reduction is not a gift from Peugeot. Until recently, the e-208s with a 51 kWh battery and 156 hp electric motor had a heat pump as standard. From now on you will find this on the options list. What did you lose for that? Exactly: €450. Exactly the amount by which prices fell. The e-208 with a 51 kWh battery and 156 hp electric motor naturally retains its WLTP range of up to 409 kilometers.

Peugeot e-2008
Just like the e-208, the electric Peugeot e-2008 is also available again with two drivetrains. This electric crossover is also available with a 50 kWh battery and a 136 hp electric motor. The prices of the e-2008 with this powertrain remain unchanged. For those who want more in terms of EV, you can opt for the e-2008 with a 54 kWh battery and 156 hp electric motor. The Peugeot e-2008 with a 54 kWh battery and 156 hp powerful electric heart is – you guessed it – also €450 less expensive. As with the e-208, the price reduction is related to the heat pump. This used to be standard on the e-2008 in these configurations, but has moved to the options list. The additional price for the heat pump: €450.
