Volvo EX90

The first copies of the electric Volvo EX90 have yet to be delivered in the Netherlands, but that does not prevent Volvo from already discounting its new electric flagship. The Volvo EX90 has a new starting price of less than €100,000, but you have to leave some equipment for that.

During the introduction of the electric EX90, the Dutch importer immediately announced the first prices of the electric SUV. The Volvo EX90 was available as a 408 hp EX90 Twin Motor Ultra from €102,495 and as a 517 hp EX90 Twin Motor Performance Ultra from €107,495. In the long term, cheaper versions will be added, but they are not yet available. However, the existing Ultra and the Performance Ultra will now be €3,300 less expensive.

The price reduction gives the Volvo EX90 a provisional starting price of less than €100,000. For the Volvo EX90 Twin Motor Ultra you now have to pay €99,195. The more powerful Performance engine version will now cost €104,195 as an Ultra.

Equipment Volvo EX90

The lower starting prices go hand in hand with a slightly less spacious standard equipment. For example, Volvo’s ‘Four-C’ called active air suspension was previously standard, but that piece of comfort now moves to the option list. You now have to pay €2,705 extra for it. Furthermore, the EX90 (with 21-inch alloy) was previously standard on all-season tires. This rubber also moves to the option list and immediately has an additional price of €340. The previously standard Climate Pack, which includes a heated steering wheel, heated seats in the second row and a headlight cleaning system, is now on the option list and costs €595. Volvo is further expanding the color palette of the EX90 with the new color Mulberry Red, although it charges a surcharge for this – just like for all colors besides Vapor Gray.
