Elon Musk announces ‘musical’ Tesla update

Electric cars can sometimes just pass by as a whisper and that is not without danger. Therefore, Tesla’s can make noise to warn the environment. There will soon be new, quite special, sounds according to Elon Musk.

Although it is of course great for the environment that electric cars hardly make any noise, it can also be dangerous for pedestrians, for example. You could be under the impression that there is no car around and step in front of it in an unguarded moment. Paying closer attention already helps, but more and more EVs are already making sound through external speakers to make their presence known. This also applies to Teslas, which can emit a striking noise / tone to make themselves heard.

To be fair, that’s a remarkable and slightly annoying sound, but it works. To make it all a bit more fun, Tesla CEO Elon Musk shows his humorous side. He announced on Twitter that an update will be available that will allow Tesla’s music to be played via the Pedestrian Warning System. According to Musk, it’s about ‘Snake Jazz’ and ‘Polynesian elevator music’. The former is known from the comedy series ‘Rick and Morty’ and is highly annoying, but the elevator music also seems to us something you would rather not listen to constantly. As long as it attracts attention!
