The EV Experience, an event at Circuit Zandvoort where everything related to electric driving is discussed, can take place this weekend. Despite the stricter measures, the green light has been given. Techzle is also present.
This weekend Circuit Zandvoort is the scene of the EV Experience. A three-day event (2 to 4 October) that is all about electric driving. You can drive EVs on the renewed circuit, follow workshops and discover in all kinds of other ways what is happening in this area. Techzle is also there; editor Cornelis Kit, known for the video series ‘Cornelis Schetst’, explains technical matters around electric driving in the same comprehensible way. This will all continue as usual, the organization reports, because sufficient ‘throughput’ is possible.
According to the organization, after good consultation with the circuit and the safety region, a series of changes have been made to the EV Experience to make this possible. “Events can continue as long as there is ‘public flow’ so that people do not get too close together. A plan has been drawn up to guarantee safety for visitors and exhibitors. More space for visitors, fixed walking routes. , temperature checks at the entrance and an obligation to use a face mask when driving are part of this. The garage doors of the pit boxes remain open, creating an open-air event with a roof above it. “
Friday morning at 10:00 am. the gates of the circuit will open for the EV Experience. You can therefore follow the live ‘lecture’ by Cornelis about EVs three times a day, at 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm. and 2.30 pm. in the Red Bull Lounge. More information can be found at www.evexperience.nl.
