The Volkswagen ID Buzz is available as a passenger car and as an order version called ID Buzz Cargo. Both variants are currently available in one length, but there is a longer version in the barrel. That larger Volkswagen ID Buzz can be seen in person for the first time in these photos.
The Volkswagen ID Buzz is currently only available in one length. Regardless of whether you order the passenger car version or the ID Buzz Cargo, you get a 4.71 meter long electric bus with a wheelbase of 2.99 meters.
In the far north of Finland, our spy photographer came across a white Volkswagen ID Buzz that differs in one important aspect from the already known versions. It is considerably longer than the ID Buzz and ID Buzz Cargo as you now find at Dutch dealers. The wheelbase of this longer model is also clearly larger. That extra seating space naturally benefits the passengers, but undoubtedly also the luggage compartment. Currently, the Volkswagen ID Buzz is only available as a five-seater, but the already well-known ‘short’ model is also available in versions with six and seven seats.
The longer version of the ID Buzz is not the only ID Buzz news that Volkswagen has in the pipeline. Just like the ID4, ID5, there will soon – and later also the ID3 – a sporty GTX version of the ID Buzz.
