Always on the hunt for the best deals and bargains? Then you have to be at the Pepper.com app. There you can find and place deals, price errors and discount codes.
Hunt for bargains with Pepper.com
The Dutch love bargains. It’s not for nothing that there are countless websites for discount codes, leaflets drop in the mailbox every week and now Black Friday lasts a whole week. Of course, various apps respond to this, but Pepper.com’s is the largest and most extensive.
The application is not dependent on the makers for updates, but is supplemented by users themselves. If they see an offer or discount code, they will place it in the app. Other users vote for the best deals, so they appear at the top of the app.
Offers
The most important thing in the app is of course the offers tab. Because new deals are constantly being added, Pepper.com is not the most organized app. Still, the makers do their best to get you started. The offers can be divided into ‘hot’, ‘new’, ‘hottest’ or ‘discussed’.
How hot an offer is represents how much upvotes got the deal. If many people like the offer, it will get hotter. The idea is that if you look at the hottest offers, you will only find the best deals. You can also simply use the search function to perform a targeted search.
Under ‘Discussed’ you will find the deals with the most responses. The quality of these responses varies. Sometimes you will find good new information, for example about availability or where to find that product extra cheaply. However, most of the time the users there complain about the product, the text or something else.
Set a keyword
The most useful feature is that you can set keywords. To do this, go to the last tab in the app with your inbox and tap ‘Manage alerts’. Here you add a product or brand name that you are interested in. You will then receive a notification when that product is on sale.
You can even choose to only receive a notification if the offer is ‘hot’. In this way you ensure that you do not receive a notification with every euro discount, but only if the deal is really worth it.
By setting up targeted notifications, you don’t have to keep an eye on the app every day, because you are afraid of missing out on offers. This way you also avoid spending too much. With so many offers, you quickly buy things you didn’t even know you wanted.
Participate yourself
Of course you can also participate in the app yourself. This can be done by adding deals or posting comments. To do this, tap the plus at the top right in the Offers screen. There you indicate whether it concerns an offer or discount code. You also add a link and image and provide as much information as possible.
Of course you don’t have to. The app is great to use to find deals only, without having to join this bargain hunter community. The Pepper.com app can be downloaded via the button below.
