Facebook is bringing new tools to help us counter these incidents. Before, it was impossible to report suspicious activity directly from Messenger on a smartphone. It was necessary to go through the tools available on Facebook, or on the web version. From now on, any report can be made from the application.

How to report bad behavior on Messenger
Here is how to report and send a report to Facebook. Go to the Messenger application and more particularly, in the conversation where the user is problematic. Go to “Details” then scroll down to the “There is a problem” option. All you have to do is select a pattern:
- Bullying
- Suicide or self-harm
- Identity theft
- Prohibited sales
- Sharing inappropriate content
- Hate speech
- Other
Then select “Send a comment”. In addition, Facebook invites you on this same screen to call emergencies if a person is in danger.
