The Jeep Compass is undergoing a facelift that will apparently also apply to Europe. A packed Compass testifies to this, although packing is probably no longer really necessary.
Why the certainty that Jeep should have made no effort to camouflage the Compass? Well, a facelifted Compass was already unveiled in China a few weeks ago. It therefore seems rather unlikely that Europe will be in for a completely different makeover. A different front bumper and more tweaked headlights are the most eye-catching changes to the Compass body. You can bet that the ‘European Compass’ will also look like this after its facelift.
The biggest news, however, lies within the Jeep. There we will now find an extremely thoroughly revised interior (photo 15). Apart from the door panels, they have started almost from scratch. A completely new dashboard with subtly hidden ventilation grilles, a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, a fresh steering wheel, a digital instrumentation and a differently arranged central button island are all part of the novelty list.
The fact that the refreshed Compass is now also driving around in our area, probably means that we can welcome it in the showroom sometime in mid-2021.
