The Porsche Panamera is working on the second generation and a facelift is now awaiting. Of course, that also means that the Sport Turismo is being held up to date and some things have been refined.
This year, the second generation of the Porsche Panamera, which was unveiled almost four years ago, will be given a facelift. Although the Sport Turismo appeared almost a year later, it is immediately included in the renewal round. We already saw proof of this at the end of last year. Now the more spacious Panamera has once again appeared in front of the spy photographer’s camera.
Although there are of course no earth-shattering changes planned, this prototype is noteworthy. Unlike the previous test car, this Panamera has a clearly different front bumper. The sections directly below the headlamps continue one right upwards than usual. Also, the indicators on both sides are now divided between two relatively widely spaced slats. We now see this for the first time on the Sport Turismo. This change already surfaced on the regular Panamera. At the rear, incidentally, the differently arranged rear lights are particularly striking.
What changes in the motor field remains to be seen. The cautious expectation is that the revised Panamera will be assigned mild-hybrid technology. The 2.9-liter V6 is already equipped with such a 48V system in other cars, namely the American Audi’s S6 and S7. It therefore seems strange if that is not the case with the Porsche. Of course, the fully hybrid S E-Hybrid will also be present again.
