With the Ferrari 812 GTS, Ferrari finally has a convertible with V12 at home that is not built in a super-limited edition. That means more chances for tuners to violate it, and Mansory does not say that twice.
We know Mansory as not a subtle player in the world of tuning and styling. Although the reactions to the German tuner seem to be almost exclusively negative among the normal audience, Mansory is doing good business with his wealthy target group.
The latest addition to the impressive portfolio is called Mansory Stallone GTS. It is the open version of the ‘normal’ Mansory Stallone, which is again the less subtle brother of the Mansory-812 that we showed earlier on this site. The Mansory Stallone GTS is of course nothing more or less than a solidly rebuilt Ferrari 812 GTS.
Mansory himself prefers to speak of ‘fully refined’, but that is difficult to reconcile with what the eye sees. We see a Ferrari with a carbon rear wing that even the creators of the Fast and Furious film series would find a bit exaggerated. Elsewhere too, the car is covered with slabs of carbon and of course there are large wheels and brightly colored brake calipers. The interior of the demo example shown is completely covered with bright blue leather, although the Mansory customer can of course design it as desired.
It does not stop at appearance, because a Stallone is actually even faster than the original. Those who find 812 hp really too little can rejoice here with 830 units. The torque comes to 740 Nm and the 0-100 time drops from ‘less than 3 seconds’ to 2.8 seconds. That seems more or less the same to us, but in these parts the margins are minimal. The top? 345 km / h. Still handsome, with such a bookshelf on the back.
Anyone who wants to tackle it all in a more subtle way with his 812 GTS can also contact Novitec.
