After a large fundraiser among customers, Ferrari comes up with a new drug against the corona virus. At his factory in Maranello, Italy, work has been carried out on the production of respirators.
The development of Ferrari’s future cars has to make way for the production of medical equipment. After preparing the department where prototypes of cars are usually built, Ferrari is ready to build respirators. These are breathing valves and connections for protective masks.
Ferrari has asked several companies for help with the production of the equipment. For example, Mares, a manufacturer of diving equipment, is responsible for customizing the masks and Nuovomacult Grupoo Teamsystem arranges the logistics of the project. Ferrari wants to produce several hundred devices in the coming days. These are eventually distributed to several hospitals in the hard-hit Northern Italian region.
