A new Ferrari is virtually unattainable for the average mortal. That everything is relative is also apparent from the range in the Ferrari stable. Where one model costs several tons, the other costs almost double that. The Ferrari Daytona SP3, of which AutoWeek can now exclusively report the Dutch price, makes it very colorful.

Those in the fortunate position of being able to shop at Ferrari for a new piece of automotive pleasure should not immediately count themselves too rich. After all, the party starts in the Netherlands from more than €275,000. That is the price that Kroymans asks for the Portofino M. Above that are the Roma (from €278,285) and Roma Spider, the 296 GTB (from €301,848) and GTS, plug-in hybrid supersporter SF90 (from €454,303), the more half a million Purosangue and the mighty 812 with prices reaching a whopping €710,440. Tons of money, but these are amounts that pale in comparison to the price you pay in the Netherlands for the Ferrari Daytona SP3.

What do you choose?

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 costs the sweet sum of €2,106,679 in the Netherlands. For that you can buy a Roma, a 296 GTS, an SF90, a Purosangue and an 812 GTS and still have a lot of money in your pocket. Why the Daytona SP3 is so mercilessly pricey? First of all, it is a Ferrari limited to 599 pieces from the Icona line, a series of cars inspired by historic Ferraris that only appear on the road in limited numbers. In addition, the Daytona SP3 has a mighty 6.5-liter V12 without any form of electrical assistance as the beating heart. That power station invites the Dutch tax authorities to greedily sink its bpm teeth into the winged Daytona SP3.

The 6.5 V12 stomps 840 hp and 697 Nm via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to the rear wheels. The LaFerrari-based Daytona SP3 blasts from zero to 100 km/h in less than 2.9 seconds and is capable of hurtling to over 340 km/h.
