First Adventure Challenge on April 9

In possession of an allroad, do you want to really go offroad and also go home with a nice price? Enduro specialist Nikki van der Spek is organizing the first Adventure Challenge in the Netherlands on Sunday 9 April, a challenge for heavier all-road motorcycles.

The Allroad Challenge is for every type of motorcyclist – and of course female motorcyclist – and every type of all-road motorcycle, provided that it has a cylinder capacity of at least 600cc or a weight of 154 kilos. Whether you are very experienced or a rookie in the off-road field, everyone is equally welcome.

In addition to the fact that your motorcycle must meet the minimum requirements of weight and cylinder capacity, it is recommended that you appear that day with coarse all-road tires, preferably studded tires.

During the Adventure Challenge you will do various exercises with your motorcycle to test your all-road capabilities. Rest assured, the exercises that have been plotted are without timekeeping.

The organization is still holding its cards to the chest regarding the exercises that have been set out, but names such as “Hillclimb”, “Sanddrift” and “Obstacle Course” speak volumes. Or how about “Ringmaster”.

No experience? No problem, the organization will help you with the difficult parts of the test and always give you the choice to go for the hardcore version or choose the chicken version.

The Adventure Challenge concludes with a joint barbecue and award ceremony, the approach of which is very different. Instead of a top 3, the top 10 goes home with a fat prize.

Not the least prizes by the way, think of a fully arranged Pyrenees Allroad trip, Jekill & Hyde exhaust system, REV’IT! jacket, Allroad helmet, set of Motoz tires, 2 overnight stays in Germany’s motorcycling paradise, gift vouchers from Rally-Motor and MR Motoren and more.

The Adventure Challenge will take place on Sunday 9 April at the beautiful Actionplanet site in Spaarnwoude. For more information and the registration form, go to www.adventure-challenge.nl.
