Last year, Apple held its first event of the year early. Will there be another Apple event in March in 2023? That is not yet certain and that depends on one product.
Will there be an Apple event 2023 in March in 2023?
Let’s get straight to the point: we don’t know. In fact, it is probably due to one specific product that Apple still has in the planning. This Apple product is Apple Reality, or the VR / AR glasses of the tech giant.
March event Apple does come back (almost) every year
Last year, Apple held an event called “Peak Performance” on March 8. It showcased a new iPhone SE, Mac Studio, Studio Display, and more. In 2021 there was an event on April 20, where, among other things, the 24-inch iMac, AirTag and new iPad Pro appeared. There was no event in 2020, but there was in 2019 and 2018.
So when you look at the previous years, it seems very likely that Apple will also hold an event in March in 2023. Still, that remains to be seen. That is mainly due to the production of Apple Reality (and how far Apple has progressed).
News site Bloomberg said earlier that Apple plans to announce the VR/AR headset sometime in the spring. The tech giant even hopes to make an announcement before WWDC and that event will be held in June. Originally, Apple would even have announced the headset in January, but due to delays, that never happened.
Even if the announcement comes in March, you probably won’t be able to buy the headset until sometime in fall 2023. Developers must be given enough time to develop the software for the VR/AR headset.

More revelations at Apple event March 2023
If there is an Apple event in March 2023, then Apple Reality will be the big star of the show. But what else can you expect? Well, we’ve been waiting for a 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M2 Pro or M2 Max chip for some time now. So that will probably also come into play during the event.
In addition, according to Apple analyst Mark Gurman, there will be a Mac Pro with an M2 chip. The Mac Pro with this chip has a 24-core CPU and a 76-core GPU with at least 192GB of RAM. It is expected that the new Mac Pro with the M2 Ultra chip can be expanded with more storage space, RAM and more.
