Apple may have lifted the veil on the first Apple product of 2026. And it will arrive sooner than you expect.
First Apple product of 2026 will arrive sooner than expected: here’s when
According to rumors, a new Apple product will be released this month. On January 28 to be precise. But why exactly on that day? January 28 is the release of Apple’s new one CreatorStudio-subscription.

And this software is mainly used by the same target group that buys a MacBook Pro. These are professionals who edit videos, edit photos, produce music, create 3D designs and so on. That is why it is quite logical that Apple will also release a new MacBook Pro 2026.
In addition, January 28 falls on a Wednesday, and Apple often launches new products on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. It remains speculation, of course, but it could very well be the case.
Furthermore, a new MacBook Pro with M5 chip has been on the expected release list for some time. In October 2025, Apple released the first MacBook Pro with M5, but it was the only laptop with the new chip. It was only the 14-inch with a standard M5 chip.
However, the 16-inch MacBook Pro did not receive an M5 update, and the even more powerful chips (think of the M5 Pro and M5 Max) have still not been announced. It is therefore expected that Apple will release those models soon.

That means we’re going to get a 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M5 chip. In addition, we expect both the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M5 Pro or M5 Max. So those are three different versions of the MacBook Pro that we expect in 2026.
So we’ll have to wait and see, but put this date in your calendar. Do you want to be sure you won’t miss the release? Then sign up for our newsletter!
