The Apple Watch Series 7 was announced by Apple last week, but a launch date is still unknown. However, Apple’s smart watch has already been spotted in the wild for the first time.
Photos Apple Watch Series 7
During the Apple event in September, Apple unveiled the new Apple Watch Series 7. It has a significantly larger screen. The bezels around the screen are 40 percent smaller, so that the smartwatch has almost 20 percent more screen surface than its predecessor.
We have already seen what that looks like on press pictures. Now, for the first time, ‘real’ photos of the Apple Watch Series 7 have also been shared. They were posted to a Facebook group by someone who claims to be working with an Apple supplier. The person says the company is already testing the Series 7 before the smartwatch officially goes on sale “later this fall”.
The photos show the Apple Watch Series 7 with the larger display. Despite previous rumors, the watch does not have flat sides. Instead, the sides are more rounded, with the screen deflecting slightly more at the edges.
Release Apple Watch Series 7
Judging by previous rumors, it won’t be long before you can pre-order the Apple Watch Series 7. The pre-order will reportedly start this Friday, October 8. A week later (on October 15), the first Apple Watch Series 7 models would be delivered. From that moment on they are also in the shops.
The Series 7 comes in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm. In terms of color, you can choose from Midnight (black), Starlight (white), red, blue and green. The Dutch prices are not yet known, but in America they are the same as last year’s Series 6. This means that the entry price will probably be 428.25 euros.
