First Edition is flying out

The first series of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 that comes to the Netherlands is almost completely sold out. That means that the special introductory version called First Edition is almost impossible to get.
On Wednesday, November 9, Hyundai opened the digital order books for the special introduction version of the Hyundai Ioniq 6: the First Edition. 250 of these will come to the Netherlands. At the end of the first day of order, 80 percent had already been paid by the end of the working day. If a candidate has been found for all 250 copies, Hyundai will create a waiting list on which interested parties can be put in order to be able to obtain an Ioniq 6 First Edition – if someone cancels his reservation.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition costs almost 63 grand. Hyundai asks to be exact €62,895 for it. For that amount you get an Ioniq 6 with a 77.4 kWh battery, two together 325 hp strong electric motors and an arsenal of delicacies. The range of the introductory version is 519 kilometers. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 First Edition stands on 20-inch wheels, is decorated with black accents on the outside and features such things as a glass sliding and tilting roof and seats in a combination of fabric and leather. The seat cover has a pattern inspired by that of the furniture in the Prophecy Concept, the study model from which the Ioniq 6 is a derivative. Hyundai puts floor mats in the First Edition and gives the car technical extras such as LED matrix headlights, a Bose audio system with seven speakers, Highway Driving Assist II, a heat pump and almost everything else that Hyundai can provide on the Ioniq 6. Think of a heated steering wheel, electrically adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats and a heated rear seat.
About 63 mille is of course a lot of money, but don’t worry: the prices of the regular versions of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 will follow later. We are not only talking about less well-equipped versions, but also about variants with milder powertrains. For example, there will be versions with a smaller (53 kWh) battery pack
