Flitsmeister adds annoying function (which you cannot disable)

Flitsmeister has added an annoying function that unpaid users cannot expand. Paying seems to be the only solution.

Flitsmeister adds annoying function

If you use the Flitsmeister app, you know that a new feature is regularly added. Many of those functions are without a doubt improvements, such as warnings for roadworks or for objects on the road. Yet there is a good chance that you have noticed recently that nonsensical things will also be added.

Since a few weeks you get to see the warning “You are approaching a traffic camera”. And as a motorist you have nothing to do at all! The annoying thing about it is that the Dutch highways are quite full with traffic cameras and the number of reports therefore regularly runs out of the spots!

Irritation thanks to a solved problem

The annoying function of Flitsmeister has arisen because the company has solved an existing problem for a long time. For a long time, practically every camera along the highway was seen as a flash (mainly due to unsuspecting motorists), resulting in a huge number of fake reports. By distinguishing the traffic cameras, Flitsmeister has fortunately solved this problem.

But the company has therefore introduced a new problem at the same time. Depending on the route you drive, you will soon be completely crazy about the warnings for traffic cameras. Flitsmeister has not thought about this, because unfortunately it is not possible for non-paying users to eliminate this useless function.

Flitsmeister has since made it known to be aware of the irritations about the function and promises to solve the problem in a later update. When we can expect that update remains unclear for the time being. As soon as there is, you naturally read it immediately iPhoned. In the meantime, we can only recommend an alternative free app such as Waze To use.
