For example, iOS 11 makes editing and sharing screenshots easier

Forward a comical message or show what your home screen looks like: there are plenty of reasons to take a screenshot with your iPhone or iPad. The renewed screenshot function of iOS 11 is therefore more than welcome.

iOS 11 screenshots completely renewed

As soon as you take a screenshot in iOS 11 (press the home and lock buttons at the same time), you can already see that Apple has changed this function since iOS 10. A thumbnail of each screenshot appears in the lower left corner of the screen.

Tapping on this thumbnail opens a new screen that Apple introduces with iOS 11. Here you can crop the image directly, or make a drawing on it.

Several tools are available at the bottom of the screen. Tap the pens, markers and eraser to draw drawings on your screen and select the bubble to change the color. Tapping the plus sign in the lower right corner brings up a number of useful other options. You can add text, write signatures or use a magnifying glass. With the shapes underneath you can quickly add a circle, arrow or speech bubble, for example.

Delete a screenshot immediately after sending

The big advantage of the updated iOS 11 screenshots is that you can also share the screenshot directly from this screen. Then you can choose to delete the image immediately or save it to your camera roll. This comes in handy, as you often only need to send a screenshot to one person and then stop using it. By removing them immediately after sharing, they no longer fill up your film roll unnecessarily.
