Ford adjusts delivery range Ford Mustang Mach-E

Ford itself states that the most popular versions of the Mustang Mach-E have become €4,000 cheaper. That seems to be true, but only if we count from the price increases implemented earlier this year and with the caveat that certain options are selected. There are new versions, so that not every version can be directly compared with a predecessor.

The basic version indeed seems to have become €4,000 cheaper compared to the immediate past. The Ford Mustang Mach-E is therefore available from €58,100. For that money, an otherwise unnamed, rear-wheel drive version with a 75 kWh battery is ready. Compared to January 2022, the price is still considerably higher, because then this version cost €52,125.

If you want a different version than the basic version, you will now end up with the Premium version as standard. This has two effects: the richer-equipped version becomes more attractive, but the entry-level price of the popular RWD with 98 kWh goes up. The Ford Mustang Mach-E with the largest battery pack and rear-wheel drive now costs at least €70,445. As before, this is also the version with the largest range, theoretically 610 km. The 98 kWh version also recently has a higher towing weight of 1,500 kg.

The combination of ‘Premium’ and ‘RWD’ also means that a landmark of the AWD version is lost. Also in the RWD version of the Premium, the lower bumper parts and wheel arch edges are painted in high-gloss black, and the brake calipers in red. The Premium also has 19-inch wheels, electrically adjustable front seats, dynamic LED headlights and a Bang & Olufsen audio system.

Prefer four-wheel drive? This is possible in combination with both battery packs, but always in Premium trim. With 75 kWh you pay €68,770, while an Extended Range AWD is available for €66,445. The mighty Ford Mustang Mach-E GT is listed for €83,990 with its 487 hp. Just a little more than before, even if we count from May.
