The “milder” version of the brand new Ford Bronco also shows itself for its official unveiling. Unlike the more robust Bronco, the Sport can be seen from every angle!
The fact that Ford is launching a new Bronco series cannot be a big secret anymore. This model was used until 1996 and made a brief statement in 2004 as a concept, but production plans were not forthcoming. At the end of 2016, it was confirmed that Ford went back to work with the model name, but then it remained anxiously quiet again. Two years ago, Ford then started a tease campaign and since then the car has been camouflaged in various forms on the sensitive plate. After all this time it is now – unofficially – clear what the Bronco looks like, because many photos leak out through the American Broncosport forum.
For a little clarification: Ford comes (at first glance) with two versions. We have to see the real Bronco as a real offroader that will compete with cars like the Jeep Wrangler. In addition, there will also be a Bronco Sport; a more cross-over type for the city. Although it is a milder version, the Sport gets a lot of Bronco influences. Both noses show a lot of similarities and the Bronco Sport also has a plastic fender all around. He is only significantly less high on his wheels and here and there gets slightly rounder forms. A large spare wheel is missing in the tailgate. The rear window appears to be able to open independently.
Reportedly, we don’t have to wait long for a definitive answer. Ford would show the Bronco this month, followed by the Bronco Sport next month.
