The Ford Mustang was still available for just under a ton, but as of next year, the pony car slightly more expensive and breaks through the €100,000 barrier in every version.

Until the beginning of 2021 you could still get the Ford Mustang and the cutaway Mustang Convertible with a 290 hp strong 2.3 Ecoboost four-cylinder. The 5.0 V8 is now the only power source that you can still get in Ford’s fun machine. It is evident that in our car country, which is irritated by the bpm, a hefty price is attached to that mighty V8 power. Officially, that price is still under $1,000, but that will change from January 1, 2022.

The V8 enjoyment kicked off with the €98,635 Mustang Fastback with automatic transmission. The coupé with 5.0 V8 and manual gearbox just reached the limit of one euro ton and the Mustang Convertible with eight-cylinder already cost more than €100,000 in all flavors. As of 2022, Ford will implement a price increase of about 6 grand on the ‘Stang. It gives the Mustang 5.0 V8 a new starting price of €104,770.

For just under €105,000 you can drive the 449 hp Ford Mustang Fastback 5.0 V8 with a ten-speed automatic. Prefer the closed Mustang with manual gearbox? Then count on a starting price of €107,065. For the Mustang Convertible 5.0 V8 with automatic transmission and manual transmission, you will lose €112,220 and €114,110 in succession. The extra tasty Mach 1 versions are also about €6,000 more expensive. The 460 hp strong Mustang Mach1, which is only available as a Fastback, costs €119,750 with an automatic transmission and €121,605 with a six-speed manual transmission. They’re still there, and that’s what counts.
