A new season of Formula 1 has started! Are you ready to follow all qualifications and competitions every weekend? Then you only have a few options when choosing streaming services. For a number of years, Viaplay holds the broadcasting rights of Formula 1, but increases the subscription prices almost every year. That is no different in 2025, because Viaplay has again implemented substantial price increases.
Since March 2025 you pay 19.99 euros a month for Viaplay, but then you still get to see advertisements. The advertising -free subscription costs no less than 21.99 euros per month. Do you find that too much and are you looking for a way to look cheaper at Formula 1? Then F1 TV is the right choice, because you look at the F1 qualifications and races every weekend at a much lower price! You get F1 TV as standard at Viaplay, but a separate subscription to the streaming service is much cheaper.
F1 TV Pro
F1 TV is the official streaming service of Formula 1 and is much cheaper than Viaplay. With the service you look at all F1 sessions, including the qualifications and the races. You have to choose the right subscription for that, because F1 TV offers three monthly options. The cheapest subscription is F1 TV Access for 3.99 euros per month. With this subscription you listen to the team radios, you see exclusive programs and content of the racing weekends and you look at repetitions of the races.
Do you want to follow every qualification and race live? Then you end up at the F1 TV Pro subscription, for which you 11.99 euros pays. That is much cheaper than Viaplay, while you look at all F1 sessions advertising free. You also have access to all live board cameras, team radios and you look at the F2, F3, F1 Academy and Porsche Supercup. These options are missing from the cheaper subscription, but you will get it at F1 TV Pro.

With the third subscription you pay 17.99 euros a month, you look the Formula 1 on multiple devices at the same time live in 4K. With the most expensive subscription you still look at Formula 1 cheaper than at Viaplay. Note, because at Viaplay you get many more series and films. That is not the case with F1 TV, with this streaming service you only get F1 content. In this way the streaming service is much cheaper than Viaplay.
At F1 TV you get a free seven -day trial subscription, so that you can try the service. Do you like the streaming service?
