Gazelle e-bikes best tested by AD

Every year the Algemeen Dagblad tests the best bicycles sold on the Dutch market. With an average final grade of 8.3, the Gazelle HeavyDuty C7+ HMB e-bike won the ‘Best Tested’ prize in the ‘Electric Lifestyle Bicycles’ category. The Gazelle Makki Load Connect came out of the test as an excellent cargo bike: it received the label ‘Best Tested’ in the category ‘Electric cargo bikes on two wheels’. The cargo bike received an average final mark of 8.0 from the jury. In addition, the Gazelle Grenoble C7+ HMB scores the highest final mark (8.6) in the category ‘Electric city bicycles 2,500 to 3,000 euros’ and therefore also comes out as ‘Best Tested’ in the test.

In the category ‘Electric city bicycles 2,500 to 3,000 euros’, the Gazelle Grenoble C7+ HMB e-bike scored the highest grade average within all categories, namely 8.6. The Gazelle Grenoble C7+ HMB is a real all-round bicycle and thanks to the lightweight and low step-through frame, sturdy luggage carrier and strong braking power, the bicycle is very suitable for a ride through the city or the forest.

In the category ‘Electric cargo bikes on two wheels, open price range’, Gazelle can call itself the winner this year with the Makki Load Connect. With an average grade of 8.0, this cargo bike managed to win first prize. The electric cargo bike is equipped with a high box in which children sit safely and protected, a powerful Bosch Performance Line motor, hydraulic disc brakes and a low-maintenance belt drive.
