HiDrive on any device
After registration you will have a username and password. This allows you to access your online storage space from any browser. To do this, log in at https://my.hidrive.com/#login. You can do this on any computer, tablet or smartphone. Alternatively, you can install the HiDrive app on a mobile device. This application is available for free on the Play and App Store. This gives you the complete contents of your personal cloud space. Handy when, for example, you want to show someone a photo or need important documents in a remote location.

Upload files quickly
HiDrive subscribers decide how they store files in the cloud. Are you logged in to the HiDrive website? First click on Upload and then choose Upload files or Upload folder. You then select a file or (sub)folder on the computer, after which you confirm with Upload. You can follow the progress of the upload process below. Additional details appear via the double arrow. Uploading from the Netherlands or Belgium is very fast, because the data bridges a relatively short distance. Once the data is online, you can easily share files with others. For this, HiDrive generates a unique link with password protection.
In addition to uploading via the website, you can just as easily copy data from the mobile app to the cloud. There is also synchronization software for Windows and macOS. Add a HiDrive folder to one or more systems with this. Files that you save in this local folder automatically end up on STRATO’s online server. Create a backup so easily. If you regularly save office documents, the optional HiDrive Office extension will come in handy. This extension is included in the PC-Active reader offer. Work with it directly in Microsoft Office or OpenDocument files. Convenient, because it is no longer necessary to use other applications. From now on, you can store and edit documents in a central place. So clear! It is even possible to collaborate with other users simultaneously. All commonly used tools are available. Customized cloud storage
The possibilities of HiDrive extend too far to describe them all in detail. Besides HiDrive Office, this service has even more valuable extensions in store. For a small additional cost, you can tailor the online storage service completely to your needs. Interesting, for example, is the support for additional access protocols. This comes in handy, among other things, if you like to let HiDrive work together with a NAS. In addition, the online storage service may communicate with a PC or laptop via an (encrypted) network drive. Do you want even more security in addition to all the regular safety measures?
