Geometry shows a set of design sketches of his second model, a compact crossover that will be called ‘C’ for convenience.
Around this time last year, the Chinese giant Geely added sub-brand Geometry to its extensive portfolio. This means that the group, which we know as the parent company of Volvo, Polestar, Lynk & Co, Lotus, Emgrand and LEVC, focuses entirely on the sale of electric models. Last year, the brand already showed the A and after that sedan, this Geometry C becomes the second model.
The Geometry C is a compact crossover that, in particular at the front, has strong design similarities with the well-known A. At the back, Geometry mounts a 1.2-meter-wide light unit that is filled by 216 LEDs. The C is 4.43 meters long, which makes it no less than 30 centimeters shorter than its sedan brother. The wheelbase, however, is the same as that of the A at 2.7 meters. According to Geometry, the car can be equipped with 5G technology in the future. In addition, the C must at least be able to run autonomously on the highway.
The Geometry C shares its technical basis with the Geometry A, but the manufacturer does not yet release much information. We do know that the C gets a 204 hp electric motor, a unit that is more powerful than the 163 hp copy in the A. If Geometry’s newcomer is indeed equipped with the same battery packs as the A, this means that the C also has a 51 , 9 kWh and with a 61.9 kWh battery pack can be ordered. We expect that the gap between the A and the C will eventually be filled with a ‘normal’ hatchback, which should logically be called ‘B’.
