Google’s browser allows you to save web pages on your mobile device to view them without Internet access. We give you the procedure for Android and iOS.
Google has just announced that its Chrome browser for Android allows reading content offline. This function is unfortunately reserved for a hundred emerging countries but it is still possible to easily save your web pages on your mobile device. You can thus consult them, even if you do not have Internet. Here is how to use it:
Android
Launch Chrome and go to the web page that interests you. To save it, tap on the menu icon (three small vertical dots) and select the download icon at the top of the list.

Chrome will then ask you to access the storage space. Authorize this request. The page is then downloaded.
To play it without an Internet connection, tap on the main menu icon, then on Downloads. The saved pages appear. Tap on the one that interests you to read it. You will then only have access to the saved page and it will obviously not be possible to navigate by tapping on the links it contains.

To delete a saved page, go to Chrome Downloads as described above. Then tap on the three dots icon next to the page and then on Delete. You can also tap and hold the name of the page and tap the trash can icon.

ios
To save a webpage in Chrome for iOS, tap the three dots icon, then the share icon. Then tap on Read later.

Want to read the page you saved? Tap on the three dots icon in Chrome, then tap Reading list. Then tap on the page that interests you in the list.

And if you want to delete a saved page, tap To modify at the bottom of the Playlist. Select the page and tap To delete.
