Google has presented the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. We compare the Pixel 10 With the iPhone 16.
Google Pixel 10 vs iPhone 16
We would prefer to compare the Google Pixel 10 with the upcoming iPhone 17, but it is just too early for that. That is why we look at the differences with the iPhone 16.

Housing
The new Google Pixel 10 is slightly larger and heavier than the iPhone 16: 152.8 x 72 x 8.6 mm and 204 g compared to 147.6 x 71.6 x 7.8 mm and 170 g. Both devices have one lock for a Nano-SIM card. This can also be combined on both devices with an ESIM. The use of two esims is only possible on the iPhone.
Screen
Given the slightly larger dimensions, it is logical that the Google Pixel 10 also has a slightly larger screen than the iPhone 16. Here too the difference is not very large: 6.3 inch compared to 6.1 inches. The screen resolution on the pixel 10 with 1080 x 2424 pixels is slightly lower than that on the iPhone 16 (1179 x 2556 pixels). This means that the pixel 10 has a pixel density of 422 pixels per inch and that the iPhone 16 achieves a quantity of 460 ppi. The image of the iPhone should therefore be a bit sharper, but the question is whether that is really visible to the naked eye.

Camera
If we look at the camera of both devices, we see a bigger difference. Although they both have a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera and the ultra-wide angle cameras are also comparable (13 megapixel for the pixel, 12 megapixel for the iPhone). The Pixel 10 also only has a 10.8-megapixel camera with a 5x optical zoom. That is something that is completely missing with the iPhone 16.
If we look at the selfie cameras at the front, the differences are less than less. The Pixel 10 has a 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and the iPhone 16 a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera. With both smartphones you make excellent selfies. So the iPhone has more megapixels, but with the pixel it is just a bit easier to get everything in the picture when you have little space.

Performance
The Google Pixel 10 is on paper in terms of performance. Both devices have a fast processor: the Pixel Tensor G5 and the iPhone an A18. With 12 GB, the Pixel has a lot more memory than the iPhone 16 with 8 GB. In addition, you can choose 128 GB or 256 GB of storage space at the Pixel. That is also possible with the iPhone, but you also have the option to go for 512 GB. None of the devices has a lock for a memory card, so if you want more storage space than 256 GB you are dependent on the iPhone.
Battery
With a capacity of 4970 mAh, the battery of the Pixel 10 is more powerful than that of the iPhone 16 with a capacity of 3561 mAh. According to Google, the battery of the Pixel 10 is good for a battery life of more than 24 hours. The iPhone 16 with a battery life of about 22 hours just not. In practice you can get through the day with both devices!
