Google Pixel boring? Make it a Ninja Turtle!

Google Pixel is a beautiful device, but maybe after all these months you are a bit tired of it. Don’t worry, Dbrand now has a skin for your device that is anything but boring. You have to like pizza, nunchaku and greenery, because this is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles variant.

If there’s one question associated with the Turtles, it’s: which one is your favorite? The writer of this piece is a big fan of Michelangelo, with his orange bandana and nunchaku, but maybe you’re more of the Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello type. Even then you can have fun, because a case is made of every Turtle. The advantage is that they are not a case that looks like a children’s phone: they look quite subtle and stylish. But, of course they remain green.

The funny thing is that the cases make perfect use of the camera stripe that the device has on the back. Of course, that’s also where a fighting turtle’s bandana would be. And those two cameras, with a little imagination, of course, exactly two eyes. The cases are available for the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6a (which will be released next week).

Dbrand

It’s not an official TMNT product, but the logo does look like it, so we’re wondering if Dbrand won’t have any problems with that. It’s just called Teenage Mutant Ninja Pixels instead of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. On the other hand, lawsuits are not unknown to the company: Dbrand was previously sued for creating the Darkplates for PlayStation 5 (those side wings of the console).

Speaking of gaming, the Turtles are back in style now, partly due to the new game Shredder’s Revenge. On the other hand, you might wonder if the Turtles will ever go away: if there’s no game, then there’s a cartoon or a feature film. The humor, the action and of course the lovely April: we can never get enough of that.
