Harley-Davidson has expanded its 2022 Bagger line-up with the Street Glide ST and Road Glide ST, saying it has “pushed the boundaries of Bagger performance.” Both models are powered by the new Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-twin.
Since the arrival of the King of the Baggers racing class as a side program to the American superbike championship, the Bagger has taken on a whole new dimension in the US. What initially started as a joke has grown into a serious racing class there.
From that perspective, the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-twin powertrain on both ST models is a logical step. Compared to the Milwaukee-Eight 114, the 117 ci V-twin delivers 5% more torque, which equates to a maximum value of 172 Nm at 3,750 rpm.
The Milwaukee-Eight 117 features a high-performance camshaft, high-flow intake and high-performance exhaust tuned to maximize engine performance and produce a heartwarming rumble.

Street Glide ST
Harley-Davidson introduces a new take on speed: hot rod bagger performance, for the rider who wants to attack every corner in great comfort. The Street Glide ST combines the bold Milwaukee-Eight 117 powertrain with new dark-and-bronze finishes.
Harley-Davidson’s iconic Batwing fairing features split-stream ventilation to reduce turbulence around the helmet, and a subtle dark windshield. A low-profile tank console with side fuel cap and subtle crash bars add custom style and differentiate the Street Glide ST from other Touring models.
The Street Glide ST is largely finished in black: front, controls, powertrain and exhaust. The only clear parts are the pushrod tubes, valve lifters and machined cylinder fins. The Matte Dark Bronze finish of the cast aluminum Prodigy wheels, the colored band on the lower rocker box, the ignition cover medallion and the classic script tank graphic provide a subtle contrast to the dark finishes.
There are two paint options: Vivid Black or Gunship Grey. The front fender has been trimmed for a sporty profile and a lighter look, and standard-length saddlebags replace the Street Glide Special’s extended bags. A Heavy Breather intake with a forward-facing, exposed air filter element enhances performance-first styling, while the new solo seat gives the Street Glide ST a sleek and aggressive look.
The emulsion technology rear shocks feature hydraulically adjustable spring preload for optimum driving experience and control. The 49mm fork with dual bending valve technology delivers linear damping characteristics for smooth handling. Reflex-coupled Brembo with ABS are standard.
Other features include the Boom! Box GTS infotainment system with color touchscreen, two fairing mounted speakers and a hidden radio antenna. Electronic cruise control maintains a constant speed for comfort on long journeys. A Daymaker LED headlight emits an impressive, bright white beam of light. The Smart Security System with proximity-based, hands-free security fob provides peace of mind.
Road Glide ST
The sleek Road Glide ST has the attitude of the award-winning factory Screamin’ Eagle racer, supported by the brutal power of the Milwaukee-Eight 117 powertrain. Relentless ride comfort and the fixed Sharknose fairing appeal to a rider for whom simply impressive isn’t impressive enough.
The signature and aerodynamic Road Glide Sharknose fairing features triple split-stream ventilation to limit turbulence around the helmet. Topped off with a subtly dark windshield, the fairing features dual Daymaker LED headlamps that deliver an impressive punch of bright white light. A subtle crash bar and tank console combine to form the Road Glide ST trim lines.
A new solo seat reveals the rear fender and gives the machine its purposeful stance, along with standard-length saddlebags and a cropped front fender. The dark front, controls, drivetrain and exhaust contrast with clear pushrod tubes and valve lifters and machined cylinder fins.
Further contrast is provided by a Matte Dark Bronze finish on the cast aluminum Prodigy custom wheels, the colored band on the lower rocker box, the ignition cover medallion and the classic script tank graphic. There are two paint options: Vivid Black or Gunship Grey. A Heavy Breather intake with forward-facing, exposed air filter element enhances performance-first styling.
In terms of chassis, there is actually no technical difference between the Street and the Road Glide ST. Also on the Road Glide ST we see the Showa suspension, Reflex-coupled Brembo brakes with ABS, the Boom!
