This is the brand new iPhone 16 series
The iPhone 16 is the entry-level model and the right choice if you want the latest Apple smartphone, but don’t need the extensive functions. Prefer a size bigger? Then go for the 16 Plus of 6.7 inches. We already saw the action button on the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) of last year, but now the regular devices also have it. You set what exactly it does yourself. This makes it a handy shortcut to, for example, the Camera or Shortcuts app.
There is also a new button, which makes it easier to operate the camera. It is touch-sensitive, so it knows exactly how hard you press it or swipe over it. This calls up the camera, but also zooms in, takes the photo and much more.
Then there are the advanced iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. These are equipped with, among other things, an improved ultra-wide-angle lens, which takes photos of up to 48 megapixels. There is also a tetraprism lens. This is a telephoto lens, with which you can zoom in optically up to five times without loss of quality. Choose the 6.3-inch 16 Pro if you prefer a compact device in your hands. The 16 Pro Max is the largest iPhone ever with its 6.9-inch screen.
Furthermore, Apple is investing heavily in artificial intelligence with Apple Intelligence. This allows you to adjust your photos as you envision them. Photobombers no longer stand a chance, because you can simply remove them with the new Clean up-tool! AI then ensures that the background continues, as if they were never there. With the handy writing aid, composing messages, emails and reports is no longer a problem. View all the new iPhones of 2024 here:
