Hispano Suiza has drawn the canvas for an extra extreme version of his Carmen. The car, which was supposed to shine on the show floor in Geneva, distinguishes itself from the regular Carmen in terms of both appearance and power.
The illustrious Spanish brand Hispano Suiza was finally revived at the beginning of last year, after several prospects. The specially designed and clearly inspired by the old Hispano Suiza Carmen must do it for the reborn brand. The very exclusive electric hypercar is normally well endowed with its two electric motors, because the regular Carmen can appeal to 1,019 hp. This Carmen Boulogne adds a whopping 1,114 hp to that. The Carmen Boulogne is also 60 kilos lighter. The top speed is roughly 290 km / h, but especially the acceleration is impressive. According to Hispano Suiza, the Boulogne should be able to shoot from a standstill to 100 km / h in less than 2.6 seconds.
The normally already extravagantly designed Carmen is a striking appearance as Boulogne. The body is completely made of carbon fiber and you can see that immediately. A lacquer color is missing on the lightweight material. Copper-colored accents, both in the grille and on the coach and mirrors, contrast with it. Unfortunately, it is not yet very extensive to view different photos. We are waiting for more official images.
As mentioned, the Carmen Boulogne, just like the regular Carmen, is powered by two electric motors. According to the Spaniards, an 80 kWh battery pack must be charged in 30 minutes from 30 to 80 percent and with a full battery it is said that a range of around 400 kilometers is possible. Impressive performance, with of course a hefty price tag. The Carmen Boulogne must cost a minimum of 1.65 million euros. It also remains a very exclusive story, because only five are being built. They will be ready in 2022.
