Homey has announced a new update to Homey Insight for their iOS and Android app. This update brings the historical data of all devices, apps and variables in Homey to your smartphone and tablet.

The Dutch company Homey is known for the device of the same name and also for the Homey Bridge. It has now announced a new update for Homey insight. Homey has a mobile and web app interface with an open API that allows third-party developers to add support for their products in Homey.

Homey Insights was of course already available in the browser on larger screens. Since yesterday, this has been expanded to mobile, so that all Homey users can see the energy consumption, temperature measurements, humidity, light intensity, CO2 and much more of their devices directly on their smartphone. This new functionality is available to Homey Pro users, and to anyone with a Homey Premium subscription, simply by a (free) update of the iOS or Android app on their phone. PC-Active 332 contains a review of the Homey Pro 2023. There is a price difference between the Homey Bridge and the Pro: the price of the Bridge is 69 euros and the Pro is 399 euros. Homey Bridge can be so much cheaper because it does not contain very powerful hardware. Instead, Homey Bridge connects to the online, cloud-based Homey environment. All intelligence of the system, and the execution of Flow automations, therefore takes place in the Homey cloud. This differs from the Homey Pro, which does everything locally.
