Honda warns owners of the NC750X: on some motorcycles the inside front tire can be damaged. This can lead to vibrations and instability while driving, which increases the risk of an accident with personal injury.
The problem dates back to more than a year ago. In August 2024, Honda was informed by tire supplier Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., the Japanese Dunlop manufacturer, about an issue with the front tire that was being further investigated.
Honda was updated on the situation in September, received additional updates on the findings in November, before issuing a global recall this year.
This concerns a total of 8,764 motorcycles in Europe, of which 220 in the Netherlands. Owners in our country have now been informed about this by letter. Honda advises anyone with an NC750X to take this seriously and contact an official dealer as soon as possible.
The recovery is simple and free. The dealer checks the front tire and replaces it if it belongs to the relevant series. For more information, please visit the Honda recall page or call 00800-70070000. Don’t wait, because a damaged front tire can seriously affect your ride and safety.
