We bought and redecorated an old house. There are still about six spiders in every room. I don’t want to kill them and was wondering if there is a biological way to get these critters out of our house.

Apparently you have a healthy home because the presence of spiders would indicate a good environmental quality. By the way, spiders are normal guests in old houses. Not really something to worry about, on the contrary, they clean up annoying insects such as flies and mosquitoes. But there is no simple way to keep them out. Catch and release is still the only “spider-friendly” method.
