Google’s messaging service is modernizing, but you still have to know how to switch to the new interface. We give you the procedure to follow.
The new Gmail has arrived but its deployment will not be immediate. You will have to be patient, but you can easily check if it is available. To do this, launch your web browser and sign in to Gmail.
At the top right is the gear-shaped settings icon. Click on it and see if the first line has the mention Try the new version of Gmail.

If so, click on it and the interface will automatically update.

You then have the choice between three display modes: Normal, Compact (with thinner lines) and Default (with the display of the title of the attachments). The display can then be changed by clicking on the settings icon.

The interface also has a customizable toolbar on the right. By default, you have access to the Calendar, Tasks and Notes (Keep).

And if you don’t like the new interface, click on the settings icon again and then click Go back to the classic version of Gmail.

You will then find the classic version of Google’s messaging service.
