Easily cancel your various auto-renewing Xbox subscriptions with just a few clicks.
If you have recently (or not) bought an Xbox, you may have given in to the sirens of the various subscription offers offered by Microsoft: Xbox Live, for playing online, or Xbox Game Pass, for monthly access to a catalog of games to download to your console.
Unfortunately, when signing up for this trial offer, Microsoft typically asks you to register a payment method so that the subscription (or the free trial offer) is automatically renewed and you are billed for a payment. after the free period is over.
If, however, the experience has not convinced you, or if you simply do not have enough time to fully enjoy Xbox Live or Xbox Game Pass, you can very easily cancel your various subscriptions with a few clicks. Here’s how.

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account
Open your favorite web browser and go to Microsoft account sign-in page. If you are not yet connected, click on Connection, enter your username and password and validate the connection to your account.

2. Manage your subscriptions
Once signed in to your Microsoft account, locate the section dedicated to your Subscriptions and click on Manage.

3. Cancel the subscription
In the payment settings page, click on the Cancel subscription menu displayed on the right.

Then click on the Disable recurring billing button displayed at the bottom of the page.

A confirmation message should then appear to confirm that billing has been disabled.

Your Xbox Live or Xbox Game subscription is now terminated but will continue to function until the date indicated.
