The Word, Excel, or Powerpoint documents that you handle on a daily basis are undoubtedly full of media files of all kinds. If it is possible to manually recover the images, photos, videos and other graphics inserted in the pages of these documents, the operation can quickly become tedious when the files to be extracted are present in quantity.
However, there is a utility capable of performing the operation in a few clicks.
1. Download MediaExtractor
Go to Download.com to download the MediaExtractor software.

2. Open the document
Unzip the downloaded file and launch the program by double clicking on Mediaextractor.exe.
Then click the Open File button and select the Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file you want to extract files from.

3. View the elements
After loading the document, MediaExtractor allows you to preview the found media files. Click each item displayed in the list to display the preview.

4. Extract the data
Two possibilities are offered by the program: manually save the files you need, or save all the files contained in the document.
For the latter option, click Save All Files then select the backup directory.
