Change the settings for Automatically Generated Memories in Google Photos to hide painful memories.
Google announced last week the deployment of new features within its Google Photos app. Thus, a new option allows you to purify the photos and videos selected in these memories so that they are no longer found there.
To be more precise, Google Photos now allows you to hide people, animals or even dates that may be chosen by Google’s artificial intelligence to appear in your memories of past years.
The elements of a Souvenir selected to be hidden are then masked for all the memories created by the application.
Also to discover in video:
1. Open a memory
To change the content selected and displayed in Memories automatically generated by Google Photos, open the app, then play a memory created by the app and in which you want to hide content.

2. Enter the options
At the bottom of the memory, press the options button represented by three small dots, then enter Settings.

3. Choose the elements to hide
Several options are available to help you clean up your memories. You can choose to Hide people and animals.
All you have to do is tap on the faces of people or animals that you no longer want to appear in your Memories.

Alternatively, you can choose to Hide dates that can remind you of painful memories.
When you access this menu, tap Add dates and then set the start and end dates for which you want to hide photos from Memories generated by Google Photos.

Once you have selected the face of a person or an animal, or you have entered one or more dates to hide, Google Photos will no longer display related photos and videos for your future memories.
