Hide some pictures from prying eyes by deleting them from your iPhone Camera Roll without erasing them.
Your iPhone Camera Roll probably contains some images that you don’t want to see just plain view. In addition to your family photos, you may have compromising photos, late-night footage, or screenshots that you’d rather keep private.
To prevent one of your loved ones from falling on pictures that they should not see, it is better to sort them out on a regular basis. iOS includes a little-known feature that lets you hide certain images from the camera roll, without deleting them from your iPhone.
1. Access the iOS Camera Roll
To hide certain photos from your iPhone, open the Photos application, and go to the Photos tab, or in Album, then in All Photos.

2. Select the images to hide
Press the Select button. at the top right of the screen, then select all the images you want to hide.

3. Hide images
When all of your images are selected, tap the share button displayed at the bottom left of the screen.
Among the options displayed on the line at the bottom of the screen, choose the Hide option and validate. All the chosen images should then disappear from your iPhone Camera Roll without being deleted from your device.

4. Show hidden photos
To find your hidden images, in the iOS photo library, go to the Albums section then scroll through the albums until you see the Hidden album. All the photos you have chosen to hide are stored there.
