With the arrival of iOS 10.3, the App Store has also gone unnoticed. From now on you can mark App Store reviews, so that the useful reviews are higher and the unnecessary are omitted. This is how you can mark an App Store review.
This is how you can mark an App Store review
After installing iOS 10.3, the necessary changes have been made in the App Store. You do not see this immediately when you open the Apple app store, but it is especially visible when you look at the App Store reviews.
Here app developers can respond directly to user feedback. Handy if a 1-star rating is given for a bug that has now been resolved, or that has to do with a user error.
Make the App Store better
You as an app user can also contribute to make the App Store better and more useful. You do this by marking an App Store review as helpful or not helpful. You can also flag a review if it contains offensive material, spam, or any other topic. Here’s how to use these App Store flags:
- Open the App Store and choose an app
- Tap Reviews and choose current version or all versions
- Firmly press a review you want to mark with 3D Touch (or press and hold if your device doesn’t have 3D Touch)
- Choose whether to mark an option as Useful or Not Useful. Or report a problem.
This way, the well-rated reviews are automatically placed at the top, while unnecessary user comments disappear to the bottom of the list. This should ultimately ensure that you as a user can see how good an app is faster, instead of only seeing the most recent rating.
